SafeDelivery Promise
December 15, 2020
Dear customers and lodging partners,
We’ve spent the last 7 months perfecting our safety protocols in preparation for a (hopefully) busy winter season. After meeting all guidance recommended by the Summit County UT Health Department we developed our own internal plans for safe operations. We are confident our SafeDelivery promise offers the highest level of safety and prepares us well for whatever the winter season holds.
CHANGES TO HOW WE OPERATE
Shopping Practices
1) Shopping personnel are provided with OSHA approved KN95 medical grade masks, clear face shields, surgical gloves, hand-sanitizer, and have been instructed on CDC guidelines.
2) Physical distancing is utilized to reduce close contact with others while at work.
3) Shopping carts and delivery equipment are sanitized regularly.
Delivery Practices
1) Delivery personnel are provided with OSHA approved KN95 grade masks, surgical gloves, hand-sanitizer, and have been instructed on CDC guidelines.
2) We continue to offer pre-arrival grocery delivery and stocking when it can be done safely. Many of the properties we service are holding 24-48 hours of vacancy between reservations. This allows our team to deliver prior to your arrival and without coming into contact with you or other service providers like housekeeping and maintenance staff.
3) When a property is occupied, we no longer permit our delivery teams to enter the property. Instead, we will provide contactless door-step delivery with insulated packaging that has been sealed for your safety prior to leaving our facility. This ensures maximum safety for our customers and keeps our delivery teams safe as well.
4) Some of our lodging partners require their staff to complete the final delivery to your room. We have met with these properties to discuss chain of custody and safe handling during the delivery process. Your order is sealed for safety at our facility and is delivered in thermally insulated packaging when necessary.
General Business Safety
1) Employee temperatures are taken before each shift. Employees will be asked to stay home if they show elevated temperature or signs of sickness.
2) Sick employees are asked to stay home.
3) Employees practice social distancing including face coverings in close common areas.
4) Employees wash hands frequently and avoid touching their face and eyes.
NEW SAFETY AND PACKAGING EQUIPMENT
We began preparing for the winter season several months ago to ensure we are able to deliver a safe experience for our customers, staff, and lodging partners.
Protective Equipment
KN95 grade face masks, clear face shields, and hand sanitizer.
Delivery Packaging
We ordered 3 pallets of thermal box liners with safety seals along with cold packs to ensure that your grocery order can be delivered safely and securely should it need to be delivered to your doorstep. The thermal liners protect items from freezing while properly insulating frozen or hot items during transit.
Self-sealing thermal box liners protect your order in transit and offer secure, tamper-free packaging.
Gel cold packs are used when necessary to ensure freshness.
Taking delivery of new packaging supplies in early December '20.
Final Thoughts
This year has been incredibly challenging for our business, just as it has been for many small businesses around the nation. We have operated for over 17 years in a resort market so we are no strangers to the fickle nature of good and bad snow years, recession driven drops in tourism, and the annual boom and bust between winter and summer seasons. But this year was different in a way that our past experience wasn't much help in guiding us forward. We count ourselves fortunate to have weathered the unprecedented events of 2020 and are proud to serve on the front lines in our little mountain town.
While preparing for the upcoming winter season we invested heavily to offer the safest grocery delivery service in Park City without really knowing if anyone would come back this year. We haven't raised our prices since we opened our doors so it was a difficult decision for us to add a temporary Covid19 recovery charge to offset these new and unexpected costs. We hope you appreciate the steps we have taken to make your vacation a safe one and we thank you for trusting us with your family's grocery order.
Thank you and be well.

Dear Customers,
We made the difficult decision to suspend delivery operations until May 1, 2020. While we recognize the need for food delivery during this difficult time, we believe supporting Summit County's stay-at-home order is the best course of action for our team members and community as a whole.

SERVICE UPDATE
March 10, 2020
Dear Customers,
The country is responding to an issue of growing scale and human impact, and our sympathy goes out to all who have been affected by the coronovirus outbreak.
As we have watched the situation unfold we have implemented enhanced safety protocols among our shopping and delivery teams; including following the precautionary measures listed in the CDC Steps to Prevent Illness.
We are currently maintaining normal operations, and we appreciate your understanding that your Grocery Girls experience may be different than usual. Our primary shopping location, Fresh Market Park City, has been impacted by shortages as have many other grocery stores around the country.
We are experiencing inventory reductions including hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, toilet paper, pre-packaged meats, and frozen items. While the store is replenished daily, inventory changes rapidly throughout the day. Some items are in very low stock while others are sold out completely. It is necessary for us to make subsitutions when possible but in some cases we will not be able to deliver your requested items.
Fresh Market Stores has also taken several pro-active steps to ensure the safety of their shoppers and employees. You can read the actions they have taken here.
Thank you and be well.
