Much of the energy is wasted because it is released above the fuel. Zip Wrapped Firestarters: Zip Wrapped Firestarters release more energy into a shorter flame so that more heat transfers into the fuel for better lighting. No firestarter performs better than a Zip firestarter. Indoor/Outdoor Fires: 1. Place 1 or 2 firestarters among your logs or fuel. For hard to light fuels use more firestarters as required. 2. Using limited draft, light the Zip firestarters (Zip recommends long safety matches). When firestarters are well lit carefully add more fuel taking care not to extinguish flames. 3.
